Welcome to the new JvW website! From here on out, this will be the place to keep up to date with everything in my music world.
So whats been happening lately?… Read on…
Production wise things have been quite busy. “Dream On” was finally released, including the stunning Protoculture Remix. Support has been great! Two weeks in a row on Above & Beyond’s Trance Around The World, A State of Trance with Armin, Identity with Sander van Doorn, Cycles Radio with Max Graham… Armada then licensed it to Max’s “Cycles vol. 2” compilation as well as Armin’s “ASOT Top 15″ for November 2010, and its also been featured on the new In Trance We Trust compilation out now on Black Hole.
My next single will be a collaboration with Italian producer Amex, the track is titled “Moments”, its quite a progressive uplifting one. The original will be backed with a very uplifting mix from Van Dresen. Its currently scheduled for release 13 December.
After that, my collaboration with American producer Audien, titled “Someday” will be out with a remix from none other than First State.
On the remix front, my remix for Protoculture’s “Early Bird” should be out pretty soon on Spundea Music America, and then it’s my remix of T.O.M.’s “Monsoon” out on In Trance We Trust. My remix of “Monsoon” has been picked up for Johan Gielen’s new compilation, “Global Sessions Fall 2010″.
Some other remix work has been booked. Santiago Nino’s new single, “Cosmic Love” on Lost Language, First State’s “My Sanctuary” on Magik Muzik, and Daniel Kandi’s new single “Promised” on Enhanced / Always Alive. Looking forward to starting with all of them pretty soon.
Also, I’m busy with a new solo EP and some new collabs are being planned as well.
I’ve been getting quite a few questions regarding the artist album. I’ve started planning it and have started putting ideas down, that’s all the news on it really. You can expect a release in 2012, I’m trying to aim for an end 2011 release though. I’ll post more info on it as soon as there is some.
Thanks to all of you for your support throughout the years, especially 2010! I can’t stress how much I appreciate it!
Cheers and hope you all enjoy the new site! : )
